Mahasiswa ( First Generation and Second Generation)

The Indonesian wealth in terms of resources including the largest in the world. in thering of fire expeditions by the newspaper kompas in 2012. identified approximately 127 volcano  , either active or inactive. This expedition also open facts about volcanic eruptions, such as the eruption of  Mount tambora 1815 years regarding making Europe happen phenomenon "1 year without a summer". in geology, a fact 127 volcanoes, making the ground fertile tend to become indonesia so as to allow the emergence of a range of commodities ( herbs, mining, agriculture ) quickly so that the fast-growing economy also became the target of the nation around the world. even the legendary koesplus band ever made a song about a country  he said” wooden sticks became plant". This fact shows the magnitude of the wealth of the land which is now the nation of Indonesia should we manage it well so that it is not misused and was captured by another nation .

Youth born like the Sun, the presence of the always awaited

the young man is born only once. his presence cannot be replaced

The words above shows the importance of the position of youth in the nation. the youth also has an important position in the country, because youth is a replacement for the older generation.

Mahasiswa is the term for people who studied at the University. Mahasiswa or in English we call Student also are people who have attended secondary as 9 years. (from kindergarten to high school), so the name "generation of intellectuals" can be given to mahasiswa who hold the future direction of the nation of indonesia. in the study of classical muslim historian Ibn Khaldun. According to him, in a 100-year journey of a nation will be born four models of youth. First, the brave generation. they dare to change fundamentally. Second, a generation of builders. with all the simplicity and sincere solidarity is subject to under the authority of the powers that support , have plans and measurable targets. the third generation of connoisseurs. because it benefited economically and politically in the power system, they are not sensitive anymore against the interests of the nation and the State. those thinking how to enjoy rather than working to build. Fourth, the stupid generation. they no longer have an emotional relationship with the State. they can do whatever they like regardless of the fate of the country. (Mubarrok, 2009 ) by Muhammad Nuh in “Menyemai Kreator Peradaban”.

Mahasiswa  are now more likely to be in the third-generation and fourth-generation, this can be seen in the everyday campus life. an example is the case of cheating in exams, cheating is a small thing but included in the forms of corruption because without we realize, as we benefit others would get the loss. Besides cheating also makes us not knowing the actual capability of the us, become lazy, be selfish generation result in the long term such as corruption committed by the Government.

Youth as a student(mahasiswa ) should be can be a first and second generation, so that we can create a solid foundation of the Indonesian nation. the first generation, person who want change.  the personal is their critical thinking and are not satisfied with the prevailing circumstances. they wanted a better life and more advanced. the thinking and action of the real is the basis that dare to take risks for a better change.

Transmission values of kindness is the work of civilization. history reminds us thatcivilization cannot grow forever. sometimes rising, sometimes collapse, It should collapse when  a moral degenerate when  a society failed to bequeath the goodness-goodness of the main character, strength to his new generation (Lance Morrow).

Mahasiswa Also has  transform this intent is good, we must emphasise goodness,integrity in everyaction thatwe do. K. H. Hasyim Ash'ari in hisclassic work, Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim mention All worship, spiritual as well as physical, good deed, will not be counted except accompanied behavior and good manners. kindness is the key students now to be second generation. all of which is based on the basis of sincere, goodness and mutual help will give good results as well. In the  Qur'an described "then caused grace (affection) God, you apply gentle towardsthem. If you behaved loud and harsh-hearted, they would abstain from the round, ...(Ali-Imran: 110)
